NEGOMBO ENGLISH CLASS

We started our English class today at the Church. President Roshan's cousin was supposed to come, but did not. An older gentleman who was passing the church on foot, looked up to see the small sign on the fence advertising our class...so he came. He works at one of the hotels when they have special events. He is retired otherwise. Kumara is pictured here with Elder Lee. After class he told us that he is Buddhist, but that he believes in Jesus. After he said goodbye and walked out of the Church, he came running back and asked if he could come to our Sunday meeting. He then asked if he could walk with us to our apartment. We visited for awhile and then he left with a promise to come to Church on Sunday.
